Souvenir shop politics.

Biding my time while my guests looked for T-shirts and statuettes, I tried to understand the politics of the place:

It’s not politics…it’s commerce

Althought the lineup looks like...Larry, Moe and Hillary...they just could never replace Curly.

Why is Rudy poised directly above his wife...it's the patriarchy I tells ya...it's the patriarchy….yuk…yuk…yuk!

At least they put Donna Hanover next to him...I guess the second wife gets precedence.

I'm thinking of two cousins.

One cousin says he hates sports. And he even goes so far as to brag about hating sports on his Myspace profile.

Another cousin just happens to be a professional athlete.

QUESTION: Do these cousins have anything in common? Would they even have much to say to eachother?

Oh sorry about that...it's Maxine not Donna Hanover...my bad.

Am I annoying?

"Do these cousins have anything in common?"

Even identical cousins can be completely different.

Obviously a very "family friendly" souvenir shop. Do you remember what the beginning of that "________ FUCK" T-shirt/hat/whatever said?

Just wonderin'.....

Hillary looks more like Laura Ingraham.

But it is rather odd, the one cousin being so emphatic in his dislike of sports, while the other turns pro....

Kind of like a husband who's a famous novelist, and his wife who never misses an opportunity to proclaim how much she hates fiction !

Not that we know anybody like that, mind you.

Love, Maxine

I'll take a stooge over a vicious schemer any day of the week.

However I think we got a shot at Daisy Duke...let's work on the cut-off jeans and the bare midriff tops before it gets to cold outside.

I was surprised to see that word in the photograph when I downloaded it. All I can say that a shot taken of a different part of the store reveals a T-shirt that says "New York Fuckin City." It must sell well, and I'll bet most people don't notice it. I didn't. And I was there a long time, looking for things to photograph.

if history is to be believed, greatness springs from the loins of vicious schemers....

Is it just me, or does that look more like Suze Orman than Hillary?

No, it's Camille Paglia.

Her bobble head wasn't selling well, so they repurposed it.
