I'm going to put up another flower picture to symbolize that I'm done talking about disturbing things for a while and I'm ready to do Saturday.

Tulips

Looks prickly, doesn't it? Ominous! Yet... yellow....

It's a great Saturday to be out and about in the City. Sunny but just a little chilly. Have some fun, eat an ice cream cone, look at some flowers, get a great cup of hot chocolate at Jacque Torres. I am stuck selling bloomers today but you can live it up. I expect to see a bunch of pictures of dogs urinating.

Wait, a prickly and ominous flower isn't disturbing?

Ann, you can’t run from your nature for long.

If you want to see a pretty picture, then imagine a thousand added monkeys, screeching right into the primate-demonae-nouveau face of Klaus Kinski, with him singing lyrics at the Democratic convention – "I am the wrath of God! Who is with me?"

Send that over to demon-Dowd.

Cheers

To Professor Althouse.

Madam,

If this yellow, prickly Flow'r be intended as a Nosegay from the Garden of Politicks, 'twere better it were Nightshade or Wormwood.

Ever avoiding things poisonous, even in my Ghostly State, I am,

Madam,

Your humble & obt. Servant,

Sir Archy

If you look close you can see red fringes on the jagged parts, giving a hint (or mockery) of carnivorousness.

Love your blog. We awoke this a.m. to snow on top of our green grass in Minnesota. I guess that's just something we have to accept as part of global warming, I mean global cooling, I mean climate change. I wish we had flowers like you do.
