Finally, it begins: Campaign 2016 — serious and in earnest.

The past week was a slow week, the idea being everyone was looking to family, holiday celebrations, travel, and sleeping things off, and there was no point saying or doing anything politically interesting because nobody would hear it. It was the near silence before the clamor that begins now.

Campaign '16 goes big now. How do you feel about it? Multiple answers allowed!

You left out the option "Vengeance is mine, sayeth the electorate".

Once nice thing about having awful people leading the field on both sides is that it keeps me from being overly invested in the election.

Instead of "Good Vs. Evil", it becomes "Well, on the bright side, the next killer comet might not miss....."

I'm viewing this election with a mix of pessimism, depression, and morbid fascination. Pessimism because after 2012 I've learned to expect the worst. Depression since the odds are pretty high that Trump will be the Republican candidate and I'll have to vote for him. Fascination because I'm weirdly entertained by the whole grotesquerie that this election has become. If nothing else, Donald Trump keeps things unpredictable.

I'd like to hear where all the candidates stand on the Al Qracker standoff in Oregon. Do they support an armed insurrection demanding the government give out FREE STUFF at the point of a gun?

Garage, ARM, Freder, .... all twist the Oregon foolishness into something it isn't, and in the same direction.
This suggests that it is deliberate, and they know they are lying.

It's too late. President Trump is already ruling in the minds of most men.

They will first have to do a re - call election of Trump like they did to Scott Walker.

The only other choices are old fashioned assassination or a UN Declaration of Martial Law postponing our Elections until Global Warming has stopped.

Sweet Ole Bill was on live for 30 minutes on CNN and MSNBC giving a great endorsement of Hillary that conveyed one big message: That Bill would be a better President than Hillary.

That's not helping Hillary appear strong at all. It was asking voters for a mercy fuck for Hillary.

Going to see Trump tonight. Massachusetts has 39 Republican Delegates for the voters to pick (and 3 ex officio). The Donald is not a bit player and all those who have expected him to crash and burn have been disappointed time and again.

Your poll doesn't provide an option for me. I am hoping and praying that when the voting actually starts a lot of Republicans will decide that Tromp's been a lot of fun, but now it's time to get serious and choose a candidate who will defeat Hillary! and begin to rebuild our country. It is awfully important that this happen.

I just want to be left alone.

Your poll omits, "Dreading every word from Hillary's mouth. knowing that the best possible hope for her presidency is a lack of nuclear explosions in American cities, and knowing she will be hard put to make those explosions not happen."
