Ranking the lawprof blogs.

Paul Caron has the top 30, ranked. And you know how we lawprofs love rankings. In the spirit of a US News report that heavily weights LSAT scores, Paul ranks by traffic. In the spirit of a law school that admits more students on LSAT strength, his post will get him more traffic and help him in future rankings.

Interesting of course, 3 or 4 of the top 4 lawprof aren't Law Blogs

only VC might be considered a Law Blog, though they do spread out to cover a more eclectic mix than just the law.

He didn't provide links. How lazy. And I'm too lazy to look 'em up.

I've heard of three of them. That's fame of a sort.

Every time I see his picture on that blog I find myself wishing he was one half step to the left (his right) so everything would be more symmetric.

No wonder you are so jealous of InstaPundit! Wow. Eighteen times more traffic.

What book are you reading to manage those emotions?!

Lawprof Blogs?
What percentage of the blog must be law for it to qualify?

I skip most of the law stuff here and at Instapundit, but read at least daily.

A stupid measurement, in my opinion.

I think if you are a lawprof and disclose that fact as part of your blogginess, you qualify.

I doubt if Althouse has much jealousy towards Glen, Hugh or Eugene as her numbers are quite impressive indeed.

Being in the top four of a class of (probably) hundreds would seem to satisfy any reasonable ego.

I'm just thrilled to have as many readers as I do, when I'm just writing about whatever interests me and writing in a style that amuses me. This is so intrinsically pleasurable for me that I can't fret about the additional traffic I could have if... if what? There are things one could do, but I don't think I could do them.

I'm not that kind of person. I'm motivated by pure pleasure. I am no kind of political activist. I have no extrinsic goals. And anyway, I get my turns at bigger traffic when I do one of my guestblogging stints over at Instapundit.

That right, Oh yeah. Remember that it is American Idol, squirrels and photos of people and animals urinating that made you the blog diva you are today!!!!
