First, they had shoe bombers, so we all had to take our shoes off to go through airport security.

Then they had mix-it-yourself liquid bombers, so we all had to throw away our liquids, to go through airport security.

But now al-Qaeda has butt bombers, and I don't even want to think about what we're going to have to do, to get through airport security.

For now I am wondering if those zinnias would look better in a mixed bouquet on one of your side tables, Althouse.

This is the time of year when those colors and those flowers give it up for the heartier mums.

I love zinnias.

I'm sure you've discussed this in a blog, and since I only drop in occasionally, I missed it. But your photography (always great) has gotten much more ... well ... romantic, since you've been in love and married. You used to specialize in all these rigid-lined architectural type things, and now your photos have exploded with colors and passion. This has been interesting to watch. It definitely proves something, possibly about neurotransmitters and electrons, but I'm not sure exactly "what". Is the real story here about the introduction of a new muse, and the effect that can have on an artist's style?

Me too, p.t.

Great little flowers. Make me smile.

First cutting June 1
Second cutting August 7.

Tags on flickr makes it easy.

Not much cutting depth this time. Bales or Rounds? Only time will tell.
