Maybe Abby would like to stay up with The Blonde.

Professor, you seem to be losing your touch.

No, that is cruel. You seem to be posting the same hot-button issues, but no one seems to respond.

Posts that would collect 150-200 comments are gathering 15-20.

Is it March Madness?? I don't get it!!

Abby continues to be too cute for words.

I'll bet that eye was shut until you crept up on her, Althouse.

She's eyeing you animating her in silico.

Professor, you do know that Abby will be the size of a pony when she's grown? She will also drool a quart an hour when it's hot, might be a good time to use that Amazon portal to get a Bissell carpet cleaner. She's a beautiful dog.

If she weren't a puppy that look would be terrifying.

That picture may give me nightmares tonight. Thanks Professor and Meade. Thanks heaps.

She reminds me of the tiger in Life of Pi, which I can't get anough of.

It has it all for me. Indians, Montreal, MamaG, brown peeps-which I fucking love. I don't care for whites....sexually.

My hubby is Brown, from India. He moved to the UK at the age of 10 and is smart and has an education from Oxford in Mathematicas and Computer Science, and has a Brit accent. He can speak 10 languages, 6 of which are from India. The dichotomy of an Indian, whom you expect to sound all Husker Du like Abu from The Simpsons, sounding like Huge Crant is intoxictating. I love that shit. And I fucking love India!!!!

Tits.

I had a loosely arranged dinner being set up for this week, so an email from that party in California was neglected because the notification that flashed across gave the first sentence which was anodyne and I knew what the rest was about. I thought. When I did read the email a day later, a few hours ago, it said an acquaintance had just died. While the dinner person was visiting there in California.

He had just moved from Lake Havasu to Palm Springs a week ago and picked up a cold. He missed lunch with my other friend from that cold, the next morning found crumpled on the floor barely breathing, and he died six or so hours later.

He was not an old person, and he was not frail either. I knew him as an athlete of some kind, a dancer, or gymnast I thought, a bit short, and I liked him for his languages, he spoke three or four strange ones, like Dutch and Flemish, and that, but now I notice the message header says: Sven, The Wizard of Ice, so skater then. I did not know that until now.

Died of a cold?! How tragic. I'm sorry for your loss.

Abby continues to amuse, delight, and terrify.

A slight diversion, but, since our trolls insist on maintaining the No WMDs In Iraq fiction, has anyone bothered to ask if even DiFi is saying the Pencil Neck used chemical weapons against the insurgents in Syria, where did he get them?

Does Abby need doggie Chapstick?

That photo just confirms my suspicion that there is something not right about that dog.

Hey you clod, I got my eye on you.

Auntie Ann, tell the big one to watch where he puts his big fat clodhopper feet!

"Somebody took favorite sock. Now me sad, sad doggie."

A face only a mother could love.

It's all a matter of perspective, I suppose.

Ann Althouse said...

"He was not an old person, and he was not frail either."

That's terrible. It could have been flu, which kills young, healthy people, who decline very rapidly.

JAL said...

Sorry for you & your friend, Chipper.

As the Professor said -- flu can kill unlikely people. The father of a friend of mine died on his couch in the 1957 epidemic. The friend was 12.

None of you folks obviously have a Mastiff. That face and look is familiar, as is the drooling. Wait until she grows up, they are all lazy as can be and sleep non-stop.
