They are all great dogs, but Zeus is still the one that connects with me.

Gus is asking Zeus "whooo is the weirdo with the camera?"

Lots of $$$ sloshing around:

That first pic reminds me of the Purina "I Could Be Great" commercial. Sometimes advertisements can uplift.

Taranto gives Althouse a cite in today's WSJ Best of the Web.

Finally a comment, noted by blogress Ann Althouse, from Fox New's Juan Williams: "It's what the White House now calls the original sin. They cannot work or expect Republicans to work with them to fix the plan.

Come to think of it, that may be a more apt analogy than Althouse, or even Williams, realizes. The original original sin consisted in Eve and then Adam eating the forbidden fruit, as a result of which they acquired the knowledge of good and evil. And ObamaCare's opponents have known all along that it was evil.

talking about anything I want:

I hoped Mark Halperin's interview, in which he said, "Death panels are built into the plan. It’s not like a guess or like a judgment. That’s going to be part of how costs are controlled,” would get more attention.

Remember how stupid Sarah Palin was supposed to be when she asserted that health care reform would bring about death panels? One leftist website called her statement the "lie of the year".

Can we now begin to say this aloud: Sarah Palin was a lot smarter and more insightful than the journalists, pundits and "experts" following the 2008 campaign.
