"Attackers armed with machetes killed a blogger in Bangladesh on Friday, the 4th killing of an online critic of religious extremism in the Muslim-majority country in less than 6 months."

"Niloy Chatterjee, 40, a blogger who advocated secularism, was killed in his flat in the capital, Dhaka, said police official Mustafizur Rahman."
"We are speechless. He was demanding justice for killing of other bloggers," said Imran Sarker, head of a network of activists and bloggers. "Who will be next for demanding justice for Niloy?"

Nobody Muslim. That's for sure.

I notice that all bloggers that are killed have non-Muslim (maybe Hindu) names. I guess there are no bloggers that are Muslim who are advocating secularism and demanding justice for killing of other bloggers?

Anonymous seems to be the way to go there.

Islam is organized crime.

Muslims just another way to justify stealing men's lives with approval from a god. Killing men by beheading is a quick way to please the murderous god that hates women so much that killing non submitted free men is totally approved.

So go Sunni...kill Shia.andgo Shia and kill Sunni. But first put away the nukes that Obama gave you.

Islam is so brittle that no criticism can ever, ever be allowed. That's 100% Shariah, and it's to be imposed on Muslims and non-Muslims alike.

No wonder they attack free speech so violently.

Soooo....how is Islam supposed to reform, when merely pointing out its flaws gets you murdered?

We don't need "Muslim moderates" we need "Muslim reformers."

"Moderates" watch an innocent person get hacked to death and say, "Well, I certainly don't condone that." While doing not a damn thing to prevent the next one.

I honestly don't know how anyone but Muslims themselves can fix this. I can't decide if the U.S./West should try to bomb them into oblivion, or just leave them to kill each other.

These extremists are much younger than the Western demographic. All they have is time and religious fervor to fill the time. As they have built nothing, they have nothing to lose.

The ultimate hackers.

Unfortunately terrorism works when the society being terrorized does not mobilize against it.

This is how the religion of peace establishes peace.

"just leave them to kill each other."

Problem is, the worst of the lot seem to be the best at killing, and the most motivated.

What those advocating for a new Caliphate, an extension of Sharia, and a Muslim world, against the existing Western civilized world, is that there has never been a more efficient destroyer of ideologies and people than the Western civilized world.

Sure, we are tolerant and diverse and polite and nonviolent. Until we decide not to be. Then nukes happen, and firebombings, and multi-continent invasions and occupations and war crimes trials and hangings.

Why those using violence to achieve their ends think this response cannot happen again is beyond my understanding. I pray they don't incite us to do so.

Islamic savages need to be put down like the rabid dogs they are. Along with their lefty enablers in the west.

Why wasn't he armed?

Rough crowd, rough crowd!

He was armed before the hacking. After the hacking, he was an unarmed blogger......I don't see many parallels with the Freddie Gray case, but I know which case has inspired more outrage and protests.

I certainly hope no republican offers up any comments on this event since a republican commenting on any event immediately causes the media (and to an increasing degree Althouse) to alter the discussion focus to the republican response.

Plus: the Crusades. And high horses.

And "death to America" (sayeth Obama's negotiating partners).

No one.

I am pretty sure that some Imam has declared these people to be not persons in the eyes of Islam and therefore without legal rights. I am not sure why anybody would be upset about this.

"You don't believe in hacking dissidents to death? Don't do it."

Why do we project our emotional and primitive values onto other cultures?

And so we see yet again that the pen is not mightier than the sword.

It's looking more and more like the only way to really stop the terrorists is to arm everyone. The wisdom of our country's founders is just astonishing when you think about it.
