"Everyone likes me and thinks that I'm great/In my safe space..."

From the new episode of "South Park." Watch the whole thing here. Everyone is protected from shame... and Reality — depicted as a Snidely Whiplash villain — is condemned and, ultimately, hanged.

ADDED: Here's the A.V. Club review. Excerpt:
It begins with two very different instances of shaming: Cartman being body-shamed after posting shirtless photos of himself online and Randy being charity-shamed when he won’t add a $1 donation to help starving children onto his grocery bill at Whole Foods. At first, the two narratives appear to be opposite of one another, with Cartman being an example of the shamee who’s at fault—if he didn’t want people to make fun of him, then why did he post the pics?—and Randy’s story showing how the shamer can be the one at fault. After all, the cashier’s guilt tactics only get more absurd as the episode progresses, eventually forcing Randy to yank a sandwich from the mouth of a starving girl (or at least a cutout of one) to get his change....

What a Public Service Announcement!

This is gonna be showing up on every piece of social media frequented by college students in the next 15 minutes.

Matt & Trey have been building this theme all season long. Hope the pay off is worth it.

The first seven minutes is some of the funniest stuff I have seen in a while.

We just watched this episode earlier this evening. Brilliant season so far.

"Lena Dunham just put a picture of her asshole on Twitter and wants only the positive comments."

I think the episode might require watching.

You're such a ruthlessly brutal political gamer, Althouse.

You were plenty fond of using the same fucking sob story tactics during the your fag hag "I'm a nigger and my son's a nigger" campaign.

Now that you've got what you want, other people using the same tactics seems ridiculous to you.

There is nothing to you but ruthless self-interest and brutal office politics. You're one of the rottenest fag hags I've ever encountered and I spent a lifetime fighting against rotten, worthless fag hags in the HR department.

You live in a shithole of rotten fag hag office politics that makes this ruthless gaming seem sane to you. Somehow, even your insane fucking yammering about freedom and Dylan seems to make sense to you, even as you dump hundreds of thousands of dollars of student loan indebtedness on kids to pay for your lifetime retirement sinecure.

Meet the new boss... Althouse. Every bit the fucking same as the old boss. In fact, worse, because you're disguising your ruthless fag hag games as some kind of hippie quest for freedom. You're the HR fag hag queen who's replaced religious belief and tradition with creepy fag hag adoration of butt fucking and the Holy Bible of 10,000 HR Rules.

I beat you bitch. I lived my life in a way that I didn't have to kiss fag hag ass. (And note to fag hag ass kissers. I'm retired, financial secure and I can't be blacklisted.)

There are better ways to say this. If you leave the ridiculous crap out and just make the points you make you have a decent post, but it is damn hard to see those points because of the ridiculous crap way you put it. But I suspect you understand this.

meh.

I might read his posts if they're shorter, and appreciate them more if he leaves out the tired, stock insults. But as it stands, I rarely get more than a sentence or 2 in before givng up.

It is an interesting contradiction. I first found this blog over the "Lets take a closer look at those breasts" and defended Althouse for rightly condemning the ease at which "feminists" like Valenti coddled up and posed for Bill Clinton.

Perhaps Althouse doesn't understand there will be a second and third purge?

Fen,

They never do.

Of course the gold standard for retribution and just deserts is Hell, but here on earth I wonder how the fates of Revolutionaries Eaten By Their Own (speaking of a subject for the Nolte painter) stack up.

Yezhov cones to mind as one known to give bad deaths, and his was a bad one. But even the Kirovs and Trotskys, Robespierres and Marats...one can only hope they died in misery such as they dealt.

Some of them got to see others killed around them first. Many of them probably watched the fates of their spouses and parents and children with bovine indifference. But some must have felt bad. I wonder if it made them sorry for what they had done.

I wonder what would make Althouse sorry for her unflinching advocacy of evil.

This South Park episode was right up there with the "Man Bear Pig" one.
