"For me, pregnancy is the worst experience of my life. I’m not sure why I don’t like the experience like others do."

"Maybe it’s the swelling, the backaches or just the complete mindf-k of how your body expands and nothing fits. I don’t feel sexy, either — I feel insecure and most of the time I just feel gross."

Wrote Kim Kardashian, who nevertheless arrived last night, in her 8th month of pregnancy, at the InStyle Awards in Los Angeles wearing a very tight and white Valentino gown. What I don't understand is how something that white and tight does not reveal the shape of her navel and — speaking of mindf-ks — the fetal feet and elbows sliding and poking around. I can only imagine that there is an undergarment, similar to the padded bras that keep nipples from making an outwardly visible impression, but how thick would it need to be to hide the activities the unborn Easton West?

Do women like the experience? They might like parts of it, but they more marvel at the process than enjoy it. Ms. Kardashian might get the idea that these women like it because they aren't self-absorbed whiners like she is.

Some do. Some women feel great while pregnant and love the experience. Others feel terrible and not because they're "self-absorbed whiners."

It's probably tougher on her baby. In twenty years time, psychologists will come to recognize a phenomenon known as Spandex Baby. Such children because of the restrained environment of their prenatal months will tend to act out by crashing expensive sports cars and overeating.

Any minute now I expect to give my first shit about a Kardashian.

Good laugh this morning. Thanks.

Can we have a total media black out of these people? Including Jenner.

I would be just fine with no reproduction from the Kardashians.

The baby shower with step-father Cait must have been an unusual experience. He wore matching pajamas and everything.

She's done it more than once. You'd think that she'd be able to avoid the situation if she disliked it so.

Obama was right. She was punished with a baby.

If she weren't pregnant, she'd have no inner life.

You're sharing your body with another human life for nine months. What a weird, awesome experience for women.

I loved being pregnant because I was pregnant. Not because I felt sexy or enjoyed peeing every 20 minutes.

There is a lot of pressure these days to be a sexy or hot pregnant lady. Kim Kardashian has had a part in creating this pressure. If she would just wear more comfortable clothes that don't require maternity spanx, a lot of women would feel they could follow her trend.

Not that I'm surprised, Freeman, but you obviously did a very lazy reading of my comment. If you want to respond to me, please do better.

Try thinking of Planned Parenthood as Exorcists who deliver women from Baby possession. The religious fanatics should have fun with that one.

When Kim Kardashian is upset or uncomfortable with anything, it reminds me that the world is at peace......

She hasn't been sexy for awhile so she's just coming around to how a lot of people feel.

There's alot of difference between how women feel in months 6-9.5 and what they report they felt looking back on being pregnant in the months and years that follow.

Kim Kardashian has found a way to feel thin while approaching her eighth month of pregnancy.

Well, I'm glad she "feels thin," but goodness, those are like size sixteen haunches.

Nothing wrong with that, but definitely not "thin."

A. You're not supposed to be sexy when you're pregnant.
B. These people should not be allowed to name any more children.

This is how I described the end of pregnancy several years ago:

"The hippopotamus is a ridiculous looking animal with its absurd size, bizarre proportions, and odd features.

"So it is at the end with pregnant women, and I can write that because I am one.

"At the very end of pregnancy, the woman usually assumes a shape something like the grotesque female imaginings of R. Crumb. (No, I'm not a fan of his, but I have seen Crumb.) Or, as I said to my husband this morning, something like a series of orbs in a sock.

"It is a good trade though. This transformation is usually temporary, and you get a kid in the end.

"Unlike the hippopotamus."

You are gross, so very, very gross...but that has nothing to do with your pregnancy.

How odd. I would have said the "baby's feet and elbows".

I am one who loves being pregnant. And no, it is not the memory of being pregnant that I love--I'm currently 6 months along with #5. No morning sickness, no swelling, no back aches, no contractions until the time is right. Yes, I am tired, but most people are tired for some reason or another. I sleep well; no charlie horses. The truth is, I like being pregnant a lot more than I like having a newborn.

And KK, that dress is awful.

As Andy Dwyer famously said on a Parks and Recreation out-take, Kim Kardashian is famous for the video of her comeback.

And that is the only way I think of her, too.

de jour or something French meaning "of the day" about a young Catherine Denouvove or something "Belle"

Through it all, the Irish saved Civilization, not just because one book, indeed history itself ascertains with the fabled 20/20 Catholic Shakespeare said certain things best, including taboo subjects such as Catholic dogma and whatnot.

The idea one might ask me to provide "proof" of my well-founded wisdom laid/layed out, is an idea I respect only because of its results, not divinity or "how can we be wrong if we are, as best as we can and know, hopefully and wistfully and evermore sacrosanctly yearning for only to be on God's side, such as our illusions allow with the wisdom's Earthly sacrifices?" type deal, unproffesed.*

Awww, cheer up, Kim. Pretty soon you'll have a screaming, stinking poop factory who'll grow up to despise you. That will make it all worthwhile.

I loved being pregnant, but I never had morning sickness or back aches or leg swelling. And my figure was never great shakes before pregnancy. Pregnancy was actually an improvement because there's just one shape to pregnancy. My migraines went away during pregnancy, too. All around a great experience each time, but I suppose it's highly individulaized.
